Examples of custom bridges or Hybrid bridge forms include:

• Old Mangere Bridge (Image) - Fabricated box deck structure, Fabricated box arch chord with vertical connecting hangers
• Memorial Arches & V-Pier (Image) - Originally envisaged by the architect as an Arch to support a suspended overbridge, the Arches are ultimately only a self supporting architectural structure, with concrete filled steel V pier supporting the main concrete bridge deck.
